Francesco Di Valentin will be interim managing director of Haier Europe.
Haier stated that Volmer, alongside his leadership team, played a pivotal role in transforming operations in Germany by optimising processes, introducing a new sales model, and laying the foundation for sustainable growth. Di Valentin will continue to manage the company's activities with the existing team during the transition.
The leadership change coincides with Haier Europe's ongoing expansion, including achieving 10 million connected users across its digital platforms, forming a sustainability partnership with AWorld, and opening a new Haier Boutique in Berlin. Additionally, Haier maintains global visibility through partnerships with football clubs FC Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as continued sponsorship of the Hamburg Open ATP tennis tournament.
This transition reflects Haier Europe's strategic focus on strengthening management and ensuring operational continuity in the DACH region amid its broader efforts to integrate regional operations and drive growth.
