This not only saves the wood from being chipped or burned, but also removes the need to cut down forests elsewhere, since most of Britain's hardwood is imported.

GAGO is a cork-clad swinging rocking chair, honouring the first aerial crossing of the South Atlantic by a Portuguese pilot. The chair is inspired by the shape of the aviator’s helmet and rests on a platform of solid wood, which resembles of the hydroplane floaters. It's made from 100 percent natural, environmentally friendly and durable cork and Portugese Burel fabric.
