In a commitment to providing more affordable living solutions, IKEA UK is reducing prices on thousands of its products. The retailer has announced the introduction of new lower prices, with now over 1500 items seeing reduced prices, and an additional 2500 products expected to have lower prices by spring.

Following efforts to improve the cost of goods in 2023, especially in the aftermath of the pandemic, IKEA has been able to pass on over £100 million in savings to its customers. The "New Lower Prices" initiative is described as a long-term change to pricing and builds on previous reductions seen in IKEA UK's kitchens and accessories ranges, where over 1300 items had their prices lowered last autumn.
Michaela Quinlan, CCO at IKEA UK and Ireland, emphasises the brand's commitment to creating a better everyday life at home by keeping prices as low as possible, especially during times when the cost of living is a significant concern for many. The move aligns with IKEA's priority to make its products affordable, sustainable, and accessible to a broad audience.
Customers can expect price drops on popular IKEA items across various categories, including bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, children’s furniture, and storage.
