Katie Page, the CEO of Harvey Norman, expressed enthusiasm about the growth potential in the West Midlands, citing its excellent connectivity and a population comparable to that of New Zealand, where the company already operates 42 stores. The move aligns with Harvey Norman's strategic plans, having established a presence in the UK with two stores in Northern Ireland. Page anticipates the Merry Hill store's opening later this year and hints at potential additional investments in the region in the coming months.
Harvey Norman sells luxury furniture, homeware products, home appliances and technology products.
