In early November, Nolte Möbel GmbH & Co. KG filed for insolvency. During the subsequent proceedings, lawyer Steffen Rauschenbusch guided the continuation of the company's operations as the provisional administrator. With the expiration of the application for judicial reorganisation on January 31, 2024, the insolvency proceedings were opened as planned on February 1, 2024, and Mr. Rauschenbusch was appointed as the administrator.
The German furniture manufacturer has now made its voice heard through a letter to its customers, signed by the administrator and Director Oliver Bialowons.
The following is reported in this customer letter:
'Together with the administrator, we have reached out to you as a customer and analysed the relevance of our products for your product range. You - and all other customers - have confirmed to us without exception that Nolte furniture is an indispensable component of the existing product ranges.
Against this backdrop, we have developed a restructuring concept in close consultation with the administrator, which guarantees the continuation of our company even after the opening of the insolvency proceedings. The concept was implemented immediately after the opening of the insolvency proceedings on February 1, 2024. By discontinuing the Express Möbel product line and adjusting our staff structure, the continuation of Nolte Möbel production is ensured. This success is largely due to the restructuring efforts of our employees.
Another component is the trust you, our customers, place in us. The entire Nolte family therefore asks for your support to ensure the long-term survival of our company. The main aim here is to make optimal use of production capacity.
We are currently having promising discussions with an investor. The conclusion of these discussions should secure the long-term survival of our company. We will conduct the discussions with the necessary care and inform you quickly about their completion.
Mr. Bialowons and his team will continue to ensure that our operational performance improves and that you are supplied quickly and without complaints again. We will also continue to work on the renewal and further development of our product range.
We therefore ask you to continue to actively support us with your sales activities. Our employees will confirm and execute in the usual manner after checking.
