With "Come into the light" this new year kicks off which, for Carpet Edition, resonates with all the poeticism that can accompany the act of coming out into the open. Entering a new space to explore its dimensions and perceptions.
The In-outdoor collection manages to encompass all of the elements and technical properties of the materials used while experimenting with new relationships with the environment.
A selection of five rugs (Dehor, Patio, Park, Pan and Wik) which blend the refined aesthetic elegance of the warp and weft into pieces which can be used both indoors and outdoors, and are available in a vast range of colours for any style or necessity.
Dehor Carpet.
In Carpet Edition's signature Garden of Eden, a perfect solution for enjoying outdoor space is Dehor . As the name itself suggests: initially conceived for interior design projects, its resistance to the elements and light makes it ideal for outdoor applications.
Produced in polypropylene and viscose, it has been added to the product range in 4 different colour variations: Magnetic Silver, Cool Beige, Lava Grey, and Gea Brown , which enhance the machine-sewn decorative elements and the high performance guaranteed by the high-tech braided filaments.
The star of the courtyard, Patio, borrows the stability and solidity in different seasons from Spanish architecture. The colours of this rug are unaffected by UV rays and sunlight, as well as sea water and pool water. As depicted in the colonial architecture of Latin America, the patio is no more than an open space outside the dwelling, defined by the presence of a covered space surrounded by gardens and pools and fountains.
Park, as in a nature preserve, was designed using two different textures of eight colours each. Each colour variant is available in herringbone or straight ribbed versions.
Rounding out the technical characteristics of this outdoor product is the presence of the anti- skid backing and a polyproylene border. The uniqueness of Park resides in the possibility to customise it: in order to respond to market needs and requests directly from clients, it can be made to size, considering 2 and 4 meter roll cuts.
Pan, on the other hand, is the fruit of constant research on the part of Carpet Edition around sustainable experimentation. PVC and polyester, two high performance materials, recycled and -in turn- recyclable, are the perfect pair to achieve a striated texture in this new rug which recalls the technical aspect but is at the same time decorative. Numerous certifications make it usable in high traffic areas as flooring or as a rug framed with a tonal border.
Wik continues to showcase the latest trends in sustainable materials, and is in all respects a valid alternative to Pan. The compact structure of Wik, obtained by the selection of PVC and Polyester, high end synthetic fibres which are extremely durable and resistant to the impact of external agents. The colours, which are fade-resistant even if exposed to direct sunlight, offer an additional personal touch to outdoor spaces.
All of the new products launched by Carpet Edition are produced without utilising processes or materials that that release toxic substances into the air. For Carpet Edition, come into the light has been an opportunity to again approach nature, but from another point of view, transforming it into a way of life that is lasting, free and sincere.
With In-outdoor, the new collection of outdoor rugs, Carpet Edition launches its trait d'union in the design of indoor and outdoor furnishing accessories.
