Actiu, an office furniture manufacturer based in Alicante (Spain), has exceeded pre-pandemic levels with a turnover of 88 million euros. Specializing in designing and producing furniture for work and contract environments, the company experienced a nearly 12% increase in revenue last year. This growth is particularly noteworthy given the challenges posed by the pandemic, which disrupted operations due to the surge in telecommuting and the suspension of office projects, highlighting the resilience of Actiu in adapting to changing work dynamics.
In addition to the increase in turnover resulting from diversification into sectors such as educational centers, hospitals, and healthcare institutions, Actiu explains that it has undertaken a process to clean up its accounts, resulting in a significant reduction in debts with credit institutions and thus strengthening its financial position in a context of rising interest rates. According to the company, operating profit has increased by more than 12%.
