Belgian interior chain Casa in the hands of Swedish-Lebanese entrepreneur

The Belgian interior chain Casa has a new owner: Swedish-Lebanese entrepreneur Ayad Al Saffar, also the owner of Lucardi and Kijkshop. Under his holding company AAS Retail, Al Saffar has acquired a majority stake in Casa, which was previously owned by the investment group Globitas.

Al Saffar immediately demonstrated his involvement with Casa by appointing Frank Pruijn as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Pruijn will support the strategic plans and the new positioning of the retail concept. The company has also announced that the sale of nine loss-making stores in the Netherlands is part of the strategic plan.
