Annually, the International Interior Design Association hosts the IIDA/HD Expo Product Awards to honour new design products in the hospitality industry. Last week, the Amsterdam-based brand Humble won in the Lighting (series/collections) category with Firefly. The jury - comprised of various experts from the design industry - was impressed by the atmospheric innovative design and functional use of the wireless design lamp.
The award was presented during the 2024 HD Expo + Conference in Las Vegas, where founder Jorren Teertstra proudly accepted the award. "With Firefly, we aim to show that a design lamp with innovative design can bring a warm atmosphere to any space, and of course, it's fantastic to be rewarded with this prize for that," says founder Jorren Teertstra.
