Whoppah, the online marketplace for second-hand design, has appointed Gregory Kukolj as Chief Growth Officer effective June 1. Kukolj has held various top international positions at companies including Heineken, Booking.com, and Marktplaats.nl and is recognised as an authority in the fields of e-commerce and marketing. In his role at Whoppah, he will oversee strategy, marketing, attracting growth capital, and mergers and acquisitions. Whoppah recently launched its digital platform in France, marking the next step in its European expansion.
Before joining Whoppah, Kukolj served for over four years as Chief Marketing Officer of Adevinta Benelux. Previously, he was Global Media & Precision Marketing Director at Booking.com and Global Head of Media & Digital Marketing at Heineken International. He lives in Mexico City and will partly fulfil his role remotely.
