Woak's new collection shows details like in high-fashion tailoring

The Lepida collection designed for Woak by Constance Guisset features chairs and armchairs in solid wood. Their organic shapes seem to evolve into inviting, comfortable sculptures with an almost primordial quality.

The distinctive element of the chairs in the collection is the back, made with two basic elements that seem to draw close to each other without quite touching, like the graceful shoulder blades of an exoskeleton. A delicate cutaway connects them at a single point, like the detail of high-fashion tailoring.
