Luxury skyscraper in Miami is outfitted with Duravit's bathroom fixtures

One Thousand Museum, a luxury skyscraper by Zaha Hadid in Miami, is outfitted with Duravit's bathroom fixtures. The name 'One Thousand Museum' refers to its privileged location opposite the museum park at Biscayne Boulevard 1000. The architectural work of the architect, who passed away in 2016, is particularly characterised by her typical harmonious fusion of futuristic design and organic elements.

The most striking feature of the 216-meter-tall structure is the curved white concrete exoskeleton, which impressively winds around the building and forms an interesting contrast with the faceted, crystal-like facade. "The design represents both structural and architectural fluidity," explains Chris Lepine, project manager at Zaha Hadid Architects. "The structure becomes thicker or thinner as needed, creating continuity between architecture and construction." The 62-story skyscraper encompasses a total of 83 luxury apartments with first-class amenities and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding Miami skyline, Biscayne Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean.

In line with Hadid's innovative vision, the luxury bathrooms at One Thousand Museum are equipped with high-quality sanitary products from Duravit – including the DuraStyle, Starck 3, and Starck 2 series, which underscore the modern atmosphere. In the marble bathrooms, for example, the simple, reduced forms of the Starck 3 built-in washbasins emphasize the high-quality appearance, while the Starck 2 wall-mounted toilets adorn the luxury guest bathrooms.
