Uma Objects and Holloway Li unveil bench set constructed like a surfboard

Uma Objects and Holloway Li proudly announce their continued partnership with the launch of their latest compelling creations: the T4 seating system and the striking Big Red table and bench set.

The Big Red
The Big Red table and bench set, a new collaborative creation between Uma Objects and Holloway Li, epitomises craftsmanship and playfulness. Constructed akin to a surfboard, with a foam core and infusion-moulded fibreglass, this set boasts a seamless design, exuding strength and lightness. Its high-gloss finish reflects the light, adding richness and tactility to the surface of Big Red.

The design of Big Red traces back to its inception in the London offices of the creative agency Mother. Designed to foster collaboration and camaraderie among team members, the studio envisaged a versatile dining space where ideas flowed freely, meals were shared, and even the wildest Christmas parties were accommodated. The Big Red emerged, seamlessly blending lightweight practicality with enduring strength, and is now an emblematic fixture in the offices of Mother in London.

The T4 seating system
The T4 seating system, crafted by the visionary minds at Holloway Li, represents a progression from last year's single-seat collection. Designed for versatility, the T4 sofa is modular, offering a dynamic solution for gatherings of all sizes. Each piece is meticulously hand-finished from durable fibreglass in Uma Objects' factory in Izmir, upholstered in locally sourced fabric, and can be produced in an array of colours. Accentuated by a soft curvature silhouette, the T4's perfectly moulded form offers optimal comfort and a bold aesthetic inspired by the exuberance of the 90s. Holloway Li describes the design as a harmonious blend of retro charm and 90s optimism, striking the perfect balance between familiarity and innovation.
