Pinto showcases the art of Chinese and Japanese lacquer

The art of Chinese and Japanese lacquer has always been part of the recurring vocabulary of Pinto. Hasamibako and Karabitsu, Coromandel screen, and Ming cabinet are found in the mythical interiors of the house alongside 18th-century furniture incorporating these treasures of Asia, or even refined Art Deco productions such as those from Dunand.

The Pinto collections pay homage to this classic of the house by offering several pieces in lacquered red, black, or even ivory finishes. Their smooth rendering captures and plays with light, perfectly emphasizing the simplicity of shapes as well as the combination of materials of Pinto furniture.

The sophisticated materials and a variety of finishes are made possible thanks to the close collaboration maintained by Pinto with the French craftsmen who provide their support in the development and production of furniture collections.

Victoire, the iconic satin comfortable chair, embodies a refined "classic-modern" style with character in its black or ruby lacquered finishes. This goes perfectly with the shimmering colours of the midnight blue, cypress green, and madder red lacquers of the majestic Mirage screen.
