Dorelan announces the new corporate structure, marking a new chapter in the company's history. Last week the agreement was signed that sees the Tura family as the sole shareholder of the Company, acquiring the shares of the Bergamaschi family, co-founder of the brand.
'The consensual exit of the Bergamaschi family took place in a spirit of mutual respect and trust in the future. Determination and passion are the key words that distinguish the spirit with which the renewed ownership undertakes this change, aimed at a solid business growth, strong in its DNA and open to new development opportunities,' Dorelan says on LinkedIn.
Dorelan was established in 1968 when Diano Tura and Pietro Paolo Bergamaschi left their previous employment to pursue a more ambitious project: creating top-quality mattresses. The first Dorelan products were crafted in a small garage in Forlì, embodying the taste and craftsmanship characteristic of Italian artisans. Over the years, the company has grown significantly, becoming a leading name in the world of rest for over 50 years. Today, Dorelan boasts a consolidated turnover exceeding €104 million, operates 200 single-brand stores worldwide, employs 500 people, partners with 2,000 retailers, and serves four major channels: domestic, export, contract, and naval. A new governance will be appointed in the coming months.
