The latest edition of Trilux Academy took place in the enchanting setting of the Wieliczka Salt Mine. On this day, the power of light was celebrated.
Paweł Morawski Ph.D., head of Trilux Academy, Poland said, 'Light is much more than just a compensation for darkness, which is why we cannot afford to treat it carelessly.' As Linda Geddes writes in her bestselling book Chasing the Sun, 'We spend more and more time in the dim light of offices, and in the evenings, we stare at brightly-lit screens.'
Kamil K., in his address, spoke about light pollution and highlighted the importance of lighting control systems in today's world. He also showcased examples of how future technologies are shape today's reality and how much impact we can have on the future of our environment.
There were also inspiring conversations and discussions, led by Karolina Polkowska with panelists, Andrzej Gacek and Adrian Lipowski. Expert opinion was given on important topics, including ESG, healthy architecture, and neurodiversity in workplaces.
