Traditional Teak introduces the Sofia Lounge, a new addition to the 2025 collection, designed by Dick Björk.
The Sofia Lounge embodies the essence of timeless elegance and contemporary luxury. The designer was inspired by the simple and clean lines of Johan Otto von Spreckelsen's La Grande Arche in Paris. The clean lines and distinctive shape exude tranquillity and sophistication, making the lounge set a beautiful addition to any outdoor space.
According to Traditional Teak, the Sofia lounge set is not only visually appealing but also lightweight, practical and durable. The construction is reinforced with stainless steel components powder-coated in the same colour as the Batyline upholstery, providing the necessary strength for years of daily use.
''The custom-made stainless steel bolts on the sides of the lounge look like little jewels and on some elements the traditional wooden joints have been left visible to add a touch of authenticity. Also, the cantilever base allows use on soft surfaces.
The Sofia is one of the few, if not the only, teak lounge set on the market that offers a very comfortable lounge experience even without cushions.''
