Together with designer Roger Persson, Essem Design has begun a new chapter with the Nostalgi Family. Built on the same core principles as the classic hat and shoe rack, the brand welcomes Nostalgi Bench and Nostalgi Hanger: still using recycled aluminium for the brackets, still indefinitely extendable, still the same range of colours and materials.
In 1937, Gunnar Bolin designed the original Nostalgi hat and shoe rack. 87 years later, his ideas still have a seat at the table.
Nostalgi Bench
Form follows function. The new bench is designed by Roger Persson, who was tasked to bring the heritage of the Nostalgi Family into a new range of products.
The Nostalgi Family builds on a smart system of bars and brackets that allows it to extend indefinitely to meet users' needs.
