After 39 years of service at Schmidt Küchen in various leadership roles, Wolfgang Thorwart has retired from his position as Managing Director in Germany, which he held since January 2022.

Moving forward, the management responsibilities of the company will be shared between two individuals: overseeing sales and managing operations and production at the Türkismühle location in Saarland. Boris Herrmann, currently the Production Director of Schmidt Group, assumes the role of Managing Director for the German operations. Alongside him, Tayrina Watermann-Del Valle takes on the role of Country Manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Luxembourg. She will be responsible for sales leadership and business development across these four countries.
These appointments signify Schmidt's commitment to internal talent development and strategic leadership continuity, aiming to sustain innovation and competitiveness in the market.
