Senior managers of Ukrainian furniture company arrested for supplying to Russia

Six senior managers of a prominent furniture company in Kharkiv, Ukraine, have been accused by Ukrainian law enforcement of aiding Russia, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda. The investigation revealed that these managers, who also controlled companies in Turkey and Poland, transferred manufacturing equipment to a Russian firm. This equipment was allegedly used to facilitate large-scale deliveries of furniture products to Russia between 2022 and 2023, totalling millions of euros in value.

In response to these allegations, Ukrainian authorities conducted searches at the suspects' production facilities and residences, seizing documents, computers, and phones. The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office is considering whether to detain the suspects pending trial.

The accused managers face serious charges of supporting an aggressor state, a crime that carries significant legal consequences in Ukraine.
