Marset's new lamp wins award

'Fragile now stronger than ever'

Designed by Jaume Ramírez (2023), the Fragile lamp has recently won the Chicago HiP Award in the lighting category and a silver Delta Prize awarded by the ADI-FAD Industrial Design Association.

The ADI-FAD jury, made up of Raffaella Magiarotti, Lucas Muñoz, Philippe-Albert Lefebvre and Marisa Santamaría, highlighted the Fragile lamp 'for being an iconic and timeless design that draws on the archetype of the table lamp and could become a classic of Spanish design, and for converting a handcrafted piece into an industrialised product'.

Now in their 11th year, the HiP awards celebrate the 'products and people pushing boundaries and defining the future of design'. In the words of Interior Design Magazine: 'It's not just an awards program; it's a tribute to the minds shaping our industry.'

Marset says of the lamp, 'The glass not only reveals the light source but also speaks of purity, lightness and how this design blends into its surroundings.'
