Oliver Bialowons stepped down as Managing Director of Nolte Möbel on June 30, 2024, with Jan Paschen assuming the role from July 1, 2024, as confirmed by insolvency administrator Steffen Rauschenbusch. The management change was communicated to all customers and business partners via a letter in mid-June.
Bialowons took over as Managing Director in early 2019 during a challenging period for Nolte Möbel. Despite implementing stabilisation measures, the company faced subsequent difficulties exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine conflict. These included production and plant closures, severe disruptions to supply chains, inflation spikes, and a significant downturn in demand. Despite extensive efforts to stabilise finances, Nolte Möbel filed for insolvency in November 2023. But continuation was assured in February.
Throughout the insolvency process, Bialowons cooperated closely and professionally, ensuring a smooth transition in management. He will continue to oversee the proceedings as Managing Director of Nolte Industrieholding GmbH.
