Euro area annual inflation is anticipated to be 2.5% in June 2024, a slight decrease from 2.6% in May, as per a flash estimate by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.

Breaking down the components, services are expected to have the highest annual rate in June at 4.1%, unchanged from May. Food, alcohol & tobacco are projected at 2.5%, down slightly from 2.6% in May. Non-energy industrial goods remain stable at 0.7%, consistent with May figures, while energy shows a decrease to 0.2% from 0.3% in May.
