When emergency services arrived onsite, flames were already coming out of the roof of the furniture store Furniture Pirates and within a short time, the furniture market was fully engulfed in flames, says a report from Moebelkultur.de.

The cause of the fire must now be determined, as well as the extent of the damage. According to the report, just a few months ago, the branch of the living and kitchen discount store was the scene of a robbery, where an employee was threatened with a knife and the safe was emptied.

In total, the Furniture Pirates has 17 locations in their branch network.
