Spanish fabrics company sets sights on U.S. expansion

Agora Fabrics, an esteemed international brand specialising in high-quality outdoor textiles, is expanding its presence in the United States through its parent company Sauleda S.A., which has established Sauleda USA. This new entity will oversee the distribution of Agora fabrics across America following Sauleda S.A.'s acquisition of textile organisations in the United States.

Agora Fabrics, which debuted in August 2011, resulted from the merger of two distinguished Spanish textile firms: Tuvatextil S.L. and Sauleda, a family-owned business with roots dating back to 1897. This collaboration birthed Agora, renowned for its 100% solution-dyed acrylic fibres and fabrics designed for durable outdoor projects.

In reaffirming its commitment to the U.S. market, Agora Fabrics will unveil its latest collection, Armonias, at Casual Market Atlanta, which began 15 July and ends 18 July. This marks the company's second year participating in the event, underscoring its dedication to expanding its reach among American manufacturers and designers.

Sauleda USA, headquartered with warehouses in Los Angeles, California, and Spartanburg, South Carolina, will spearhead Agora's distribution efforts across the U.S. market. David Heiman has been appointed USA Manager for Agora Fabrics, bringing extensive industry expertise to lead the brand's growth strategy in America.
