Carpentry shop fires accounted for the majority, comprising 62.7% of all incidents in woodworking and furniture production facilities. Sawmill fires constituted 20.3%, while fires at furniture manufacturing plants made up 11.9% of the total.

The Mazowieckie Voivodeship reported the highest number of fires at 10, followed by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Lubelskie, and MaƂopolskie Voivodeships with 6 incidents each. Wielkopolska, known for its furniture production, reported 5 fires, while Opolskie was the only region without any incidents.

In response, 171 rescue and firefighting units were deployed to extinguish these fires, averaging less than 3 units per fire. The losses amounted to PLN 9.7 million for the year, significantly lower than the PLN 51.5 million recorded in the first half of 2023.
