Enia Vertriebs celebrates 10-year anniversary: 'Expansion continues'

On 8 July 2024, Enia Vertriebs gmbh celebrated its 10th anniversary. Since its foundation in 2014, the company has developed from southern Germany into a full-fledged player in the field of designer flooring. Enia's success story is characterised by exclusive designs and innovative technologies, specifically tailored to the needs and preferences of the German market. Undeterred, the company continues its success and expands into Austria and Benelux.



Relaunch and rapid growth
By acquiring and relaunching the Enia brand, the family-owned company managed to quickly launch as a manufacturer of floor coverings in Switzerland. Just two years later, further expansion plans in Germany were picked up. With the establishment of Enia Vertriebs gmbh in Stuttgart as a subsidiary of Enia Flooring International AG, a milestone in Enia's history was reached on 8 July 2014. As an independent sales organisation and with its own warehouse in southern Germany, sales manager Michael Lenz began building a strong field sales team, which now has seven employees.

Logistics as success factor
A key success factor of Enia Vertriebs gmbh is its high delivery capacity and the corresponding service promise that all products are available from its own stock in Germany within 48 hours. To support dynamic growth and better serve the customer base throughout Germany, a new central warehouse was opened in central Germany in 2020. This new logistics centre provides more space for the ample storage of all collections, thus creating potential for further expansion.

Innovative strength in the product range
The product range of Enia Vertriebs gmbh is characterised by innovative developments. One example is the JAZZ 1000 collection, which made it possible for the first time to combine stone and wood optics as design flooring. The latest innovation, the MATRIX surface for super matt optics, was also presented as a world first at the end of 2022 and enjoys great popularity. This technology has now been implemented in the third collection.

International expansion
The expansion of Enia Vertriebs gmbh continues. Since January 2022, Enia's floors have also been available to Austrian customers. Sales manager Alfred Stocker is gradually expanding Enia's presence in Austria with his own sales organisation. Two field sales staff are now active there, introducing Enia floors to the market. Since summer 2023, the focus has also been on the Benelux. With new sales partners in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, the design flooring portfolio with more than 150 decors will also be sold there.

Enia is also pursuing innovative avenues in Switzerland. From 1 May 2024, Enia Flooring International AG has merged with DIRECTA (formerly Direct Handling AG) and PROFLOOR AG to form SHARKGROUP AG. This merger makes it possible to offer customers even more efficiency, synergies and simplified structures through the construction of its own flooring competence centre in Oberhasli, near Zurich airport. Enia Vertriebs gmbh in Stuttgart will be retained as an independent company, but will undergo an organisational adjustment on the occasion of its 10th anniversary and become a 100% subsidiary of SHARKGROUP AG.

Outlook
The company proudly looks back on a decade full of challenges, innovations and successes.
