French company announces highest level of market activity since its inception

A French digital furniture brand has announced its financial results for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, ending April 30, 2024. The company, Miliboo's annual revenue reached €43.3 million, a 2.3% increase, marking the highest level of activity since the company's inception.

This growth, despite a 3.9% decline in sales volumes due to a sluggish market, was driven by an increased average basket size. French sales contributed €37.2 million (+2.2% year-on-year), while international sales grew by 3.4% to €6.1 million.

The company's gross margin improved to 61.4%, surpassing 60% for the first time since 2020. This was achieved through better management of purchasing and logistics costs. Miliboo reported a positive EBITDA of €3.1 million, up €4.0 million from the previous year, with an EBITDA margin of 7.2%. Operating income also increased to €2.8 million. After accounting for financial results, exceptional items, and taxes, the net profit stood at €2.4 million.
