Rhombus Group acquires majority stake in Interstil

The Rhombus Group, which operates in the field of interior privacy and sun protection and includes market leader MHZ Hachtel, announces that it has acquired a 51% stake in Interstil. Interstil is known for its outstanding technology and uncompromising design in the field of curtain sets, ideally complementing the Rhombus Group's range in the premium segment.

Jens Diedrichsen retains 49% of Interstil shares and will lead the company's operations as managing partner in the long term. Interstil will remain an independent company, maintaining its location in Steinhagen with administration, development, production, and sales.

The strategic partnership holds numerous synergy potentials. The high level of vertical integration of the two companies is highly complementary, significantly expanding the innovation spectrum of both companies.

'We are pleased to welcome this outstanding premium company to our group,' says Andreas Kopetschny, Managing Director of MHZ Hachtel. 'This investment allows us to expand our portfolio and further strengthen our market position. The synergies created by this partnership will benefit both companies and help us offer our customers even more innovative and high-quality products.'

Interstil Managing Director Jens Diedrichsen adds, 'We are excited about the new opportunities arising from the partnership with the Rhombus Group. Together, we can combine our strengths and react even faster to market demands. Our customers can look forward to many exciting developments.'

The transaction marks an important step in the growth strategy of both companies and sets new standards in the premium segment of the industry.
