The new acquisition includes Østerbro Tømmerhandel, Søborg Tømmerhandel, and Vejby Tømmerhandel, strengthening Brejnholt's presence in Greater Copenhagen and Northern Zealand.

Brejnholt Group, a family- and employee-owned company, sees this acquisition as a strategic move towards becoming a stronger, nationwide alternative to the foreign-owned, capital-driven chains that dominate the construction industry. According to Group CEO Robin Brejnholt, this expansion is a key component of their growth strategy leading up to 2030.

The new company, Brejnholt Søborg A/S, will operate under a partnership model. CEO Michael Nielsen from Østerbro Tømmerhandel and Sales Manager Nikolai Olesen will each hold 10% of the shares, while the previous owner, Allan Lundberg, retains 20%, and Brejnholt owns the remaining shares. This co-ownership model aims to foster a unique commitment among senior employees, which Brejnholt believes will positively influence the entire workforce.
