Andreu World presents the members of the jury of 23rd International Design Contest

Five prominent design and architecture professionals will award the €20,000 prize

Andreu World announces the international jury for the 23rd edition of the International Design Contest. This competition, aimed at students, young designers, and professionals from around the world without age restrictions, seeks to support and promote emerging design talents, emphasizing the importance of sustainability in creating new furniture for the habitat.
The jury consists of Marva Griffin, founder of the Salone Satellite in Milan; Marta Vall-llosera, President of the Superior Council of the Colleges of Architects of Spain (CSCAE); Thomas Garvey, President of the World Design Organization (WDO); Marta Alcañiz, Head of Design Spain at BBVA; and Ángela Montagud, Director of Clap Studio and winner of the 2023 National Design Award for Young Professionals. Together, they will provide a global perspective for evaluating the submitted projects.

The jury will assess the best proposals aimed at generating a positive impact on people and the planet. This year's special edition focuses on the Circular Design® Challenge, a challenge Andreu World has launched to the entire international industry to achieve complete circularity.

This year, a single prize of €20,000 will be awarded to the best design, along with three special mentions. Registrations are now open. The submission deadline is November 29, 2024. The contest rules and briefing can be found here.

Since its inception in 2001, more than 33,400 contestants and over a hundred design and architecture schools from 126 countries worldwide have participated in the contest.
