The HIB (Handmade In Belgium - UNIZO) label shows that Acro Bedding's beds and mattresses are handmade on Belgian soil from start to finish.
Acro Bedding, the Belgian manufacturer of handmade beds and mattresses, was declared bankrupt on Wednesday 21 August 2024 by the Enterprise Court Antwerp, Hasselt Division. Led by Veerle Berx, the company was known since 1995 for manufacturing beds and mattresses from high-quality materials, aiming to provide the ultimate in sleeping comfort.
In 2025, Acro Bedding received the prestigious HIB (Handmade in Belgium) label from Unizo, recognising the artisanal quality of their products. Since its establishment in 1995, the company had a network of 13 dealers in Belgium and 14 in the Netherlands. In recent years, the company also participated in the VAKdagen in De Woonindustrie.
