ScS has successfully remodelled nearly half of its store network, marking significant progress in its transformation under new owner Poltronesofà. By the start of the Bank Holiday weekend, 38 out of the retailer's approximately 100 stores had been refurbished, aligning with the vision of Renzo Ricci, CEO and owner of the Italian retailer.

The refurbishment includes 13 stores in the North of England, nine in the South, seven in the Midlands, four in Scotland, two each in the West Country and Wales, and one in the East of England. The new store designs largely reflect those of Poltronesofà's Italian outlets, with over 30 Italian furniture models now available in the UK, modified to comply with UK fire regulations.
The revamped stores feature Italian upholstery prominently on the ground floor, while British suppliers, numbering around half a dozen, are showcased on mezzanine levels. Staff training has involved trips to Italy, and new uniforms, including stylish aprons reminiscent of those used by Poltronesofà in Italy, have been introduced.
