Visionnaire, for its commitment to collectible design, has been invited along with a select group of Made in Italy excellences to participate in the curatorial project, 'Italian Design, from Classic to Contemporary', which will be held in New York from 5 September, until 29 September this year.
The exhibition, organised by Salone del Mobile.Milano in collaboration with Bloomingdale's, is curated by architect Ferruccio Laviani, who drew inspiration from the iconic metaphysical squares of Giorgio De Chirico for the project.
The event is part of the 'From Italy, with Love' project, which celebrates Italian culture, luxury and art through a series of exhibitions and talks.
Among the highlighted pieces is Visionnaire's Shibari armchair, designed by Studiopepe. This piece has already won the Achiproducts Design Award 2023 for its innovative concept and refined design, as well as the Archiproducts Sustainability Award for its 'design for disassembly' approach and its sustainable 'Paddington' fabric upholstery.
This eco-friendly material is crafted from recycle PET and is itself recyclable.
