Pixi children's books have been beloved for generations, known for their classic square format and timeless appeal. Now, furniture retailer XXXLutz is introducing a special edition in collaboration with Carlsen K of Carlsen Verlag.
The new Pixi book, titled 'Koko, Matteo, and the Enchanted Red Chair', will be available free of charge with every children's menu at XXXL restaurants across Germany from September 2nd through November 30th, 2024.
This unique collaboration brings together two icons: Carlsen Verlag, which has published Pixi books for 70 years, and the XXXLutz Group, celebrating its 80th anniversary. "We are thrilled to bring our brand to life for children with this new Pixi book. Our aim is to delight kids while introducing them to the world of XXXLutz in a fun and engaging way," says Konrad Nill, Marketing Manager at XXXLutz Germany.
The book, in the classic 10x10 cm format and spanning 24 pages, follows children Koko and Matteo on an adventure through a magical furniture store. Guided by a talking cuddly cat named Aurelia, they embark on a quest to rescue Aurelia's kidnapped friend, the monkey Konfetti. Their journey through the store's various departments teaches them about solidarity, courage, and adventure.
