S•CAB is expanding its Mentha series of chairs

'Design inspired by natural forms and ecological themes'

S•CAB is expanding its Mentha series of chairs, designed by Archirivolto, with new indoor solutions. Originally launched in 2023 with a technopolymer version suitable for both outdoor and indoor use, the Mentha collection will now include an indoor upholstered version. This new variant retains the chair's distinctive design and offers a variety of configurations: four-leg or sled frame, wooden legs, trestle version, with or without armrests, and with an optional writing tablet. Whether used around a dining or meeting table or in a conference setting, the Mentha chair promises elegance and comfort.

The Mentha collection is further complemented by stylish bar stools, ideal for breakfast counters or high tables.

The Mentha chairs mark Archirivolto's first collaboration with S•CAB and are notable for their design inspired by natural forms and ecological themes. The design features two leaves connected by a technical joint, creating a unique fractured shape. This design not only enhances the visual appeal but also reinforces the chair's structure, making it suitable for both domestic and high-traffic restaurant environments.

Available in various versions, including plastic with upholstered seats or fully upholstered, the Mentha chair comes with multiple frame options: four-legged, sled, or swiveling, with or without wheels, in steel or wood. It is offered in technopolymer colors like linen, dove grey, anthracite, caramel, and sage green, with wooden frames in natural stained oak and black stained ash.

The Mentha chair is versatile, fitting a range of environments from residential and hospitality to office and educational spaces. It pairs well with new 2024 projects such as the Mimosa accessories by Ionna Vautrin, and Atomo by Spalvieri & Del Ciotto. The Squid table by RadiceOrlandini DesignStudio complements the Mentha upholstered chairs in living rooms, while the Squid OF version caters to meeting rooms with integrated cable management features.
