With a total investment of about 607 million euros, Ingka Centres and Ikea will generate more than 9000 jobs in the market. Lykli Noida will be Ingka Centres' first meeting place in the world with a hotel as part of the mixed-use development and is expected to attract over 25 million visitors. The complex will be enriched with insights from the local community and designed to connect the Indian and Scandinavian cultures.
Ingka Centres, part of Ingka Group, has announced the development of Lykli Noida, the company's second meeting place in India, representing an investment of INR 5,500 crores. It is expected to generate over 9,000 jobs and attract 25 million visitors annually. Anchored by an Ikea store, the 47,833 sq. m complex will include retail, dining, hospitality, and cultural spaces.
Strategically located 15 kilometres east of Delhi city centre, Lykli Noida will offer easy metro access and eco-friendly features such as green roofs and renewable energy initiatives. It will pursue Leed Platinum and Well Gold certifications, ensuring sustainability.
Attendees at the launch event included Shri Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, and Sebastian Hylving of Ingka Centres, who emphasised the project's focus on community, sustainability, and innovation. Ikea India CEO Susanne Pulverer highlighted the positive impact on the local economy, with plans to inspire customers with sustainable home furnishing solutions.
