By unifying its stores under one name, Mercado, the company aims to simplify operations and enhance the customer experience. The consolidation will provide customers with a national product and price list, making it easier to shop across all locations.

To further streamline processes, the company Headlam Group is launching a new e-commerce website and app for the new brand, enabling customers to shop from anywhere.
Despite current challenges in the flooring sector, Headlam believes its business evolution positions it to lead the sector's recovery. CEO Chris Payne highlighted that Mercado, a trusted brand with nearly a century of history, is key to Headlam's future, with the upcoming changes set to improve customer convenience and support Headlam's leadership in the UK flooring market.
