New CEO Appointed for Beaulieu International Group

Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Baptiste De Ruyck as its new CEO, marking a significant shift toward a new era of leadership and stability for the company.

Jean-Baptiste De Ruyck, 45, brings extensive experience in senior executive roles and international finance. He joins B.I.G. from AbrisoJiffy, where he successfully transformed the company from a local player into a pan-European leader in protective packaging and insulation. Known for his expertise in improving performance, driving growth, and building effective teams, De Ruyck previously served as CEO of food packaging company Omniform and led a startup in Latin America. His career began in Investment Banking in London, where he spent over six years handling M&A and financing transactions across Europe. De Ruyck holds an MBA from the University of Brussels, a Master in Finance from Vlerick Business School, and has completed various leadership courses at INSEAD.

His appointment as an external, non-family CEO underscores B.I.G.'s commitment to professional and independent leadership, offering a fresh perspective on the company's growth strategies.

'We are excited to welcome Jean-Baptiste De Ruyck as our new CEO,' says Dominiek De Clerck, Chairman of B.I.G.'s Board of Directors. 'His experience and fresh insights will be crucial in identifying and seizing new opportunities within our industry. This appointment marks the beginning of a new phase of growth and stability as we continue to implement our sustainable growth strategy.'

Jean-Baptiste De Ruyck comments, 'I am honoured to join B.I.G. at such a pivotal time. I am optimistic about the future and the opportunities ahead. While periods of change can be challenging, I am focused on positive projects with significant growth potential. I am eager to build on strong foundations and look forward to leading B.I.G. into a new chapter of success.'

De Ruyck will succeed Pol Deturck, who left the company at the end of June 2024. His official start date will be finalized in the coming months, during which he will begin his transition into the role.
