In a challenging market for furnishings, Roche Bobois reported revenue of €204.4m, down 7.8% at current exchange rates. A €5m delivery delay, due to logistics issues with a supplier in Italy, affected revenue.
EBITDA totalled €36.6m (-26.6% vs. H1 2023), with a margin of 17.9%. Operating expenses remained under control, offsetting lower delivered volumes and the extended scope of directly-operated stores, which are gradually increasing profitability.
The Group maintained a strong financial position, with €36.6m in cash flow and €13.7m in free cash flow as of 30 June 2024. Available cash remained stable at €65.5m.
Retail sales at directly-operated stores totalled €236.7m by the end of August 2024, unchanged from last year. Total retail sales (including franchised stores) reached €385.2m, down 3.5%.
For 2024, the Group is targeting full-year revenue of around €418m, with an expected 15-20% reduction in EBITDA compared to 2023.
