Born in 1971, Réda Bouamrani was captivated from a young age by the manufacturing secrets of everyday objects, which fuelled his creative imagination and eventually became his profession. Bouamrani works across various fields, including product design and interior architecture. His design philosophy emphasises a minimalist, innovative approach with avant-garde forms and materials. His distinctive style draws inspiration from his cultural background, environment, and daily observations, resulting in creations that carry unique emotional resonance and rare vibrational qualities.
Recently the designer showcased his pieces at the Maison&Objet fair, presenting the newest collection. 'It was the perfect opportunity to discover the inspirations that shaped this collection, in an atmosphere that evokes serenity and escape. Our creations are the result of extensive research and meticulous work, which reflect the very essence of Moroccan craftsmanship combined with a contemporary vision of design,' Réda Bouamrani says.
As a pioneering Moroccan designers, Bouamrani has been instrumental in making design more accessible in Morocco. He co-founded the 'Designers du Maroc' association, where he serves as vice-president. Bouamrani has showcased his work at numerous national and international events, including the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris in 2014, where he exhibited under the theme 'Le Maroc Contemporain.'
