Gessi showcases 'Haute Culture' collection in New York

Gessi presents the Haute Culture Perle Collection in New York as part of the exhibition 'Italian Design: From Classic to Contemporary', curated by Ferruccio Laviani.

Until 29 September, within the pop-up dedicated to Made in Italy furnishings at Bloomingdale's department store on 59th Street, New York, Gessi showcases the Haute Culture Perle Collection. This collection highlights the excellence of Italian design and craftsmanship in bathroom furnishings.

Bloomingdale's has partnered with the Salone del Mobile.Milano for the installation 'Italian Design: From Classic to Contemporary.' This initiative celebrates over twenty Italian brands through a series of talks aimed at introducing the American public to Italian luxury, design, culture, fashion, and food.

The initiative's goal is to emphasise Italian innovation and tradition, featuring companies like Gessi, which has been a standout at the Salone del Mobile.Milano with its exhibition space in the S.Project area. Curated by Ferruccio Laviani, the project draws inspiration from Giorgio de Chirico's metaphysical squares and offers iconic Italian design brands a platform to present their emblematic products.

Gessi's Haute Culture Collection exemplifies creativity and artisanal mastery, showcasing Italian heritage in the world of living. The new Perle Collection, which includes three lines—Perle di Pietre Naturali, Perle Metalliche, and Perle di Murano—demonstrates a unique and personalized approach to wellness with its elegant sculptural details. The Perle di Murano line, in particular, reinterprets traditional glass techniques like 'sommerso' and 'pulegoso' in a contemporary manner.

Through this participation, Gessi continues to celebrate Italian craftsmanship and design, strengthening its global presence, including the newly inaugurated Casa Gessi in SoHo, New York.
