Camif announces leadership transition

Camif has announced a leadership transition with Julien Chaverou succeeding Emery Jacquillat as president. This change is a strategic move following Camif's 2022 merger with MAIF, aiming to expand its reach and solidify its commitment to responsible consumption and 'made in France' products. Pierre Launay, the current CEO of Camif, will work alongside Chaverou to drive the company's growth.

Chaverou, who previously worked with INDITEX/ZARA, Auchan, and Alinea, brings extensive experience in distribution, brand management, and CSR. His appointment is expected to enhance CAMIF's development and reinforce its unique market position.

The company, which recently opened a pop-up store in Niort, aims to distinguish itself from larger market players by offering a responsible consumption alternative, with over 75% of its products made in France. Launay and Chaverou's collaboration is anticipated to drive Camif's growth, particularly in physical retail, while maintaining its eco-responsible mission. Jacquillat believes that this new leadership duo will be instrumental in tackling future challenges and advancing Camif's goals.
