Maison Lelièvre joins C4, the entrepreneurial platform founded by Pascal Cagni

Maison Lelièvre, a leader in fine fabrics, wall coverings, and bespoke rugs, opens a new chapter in its tricentennial history by joining the entrepreneurial platform C4. As anchor investor, C4 Industries brings to Maison Lelièvre its expertise and resources to perpetuate its unique craftsmanship and support the global influence of the French "art de vivre" (art of living).

Emmanuel Lelièvre will continue to lead the company's development as General Manager, with the support of Pascal Cagni, founder of C4 Industries, who will take on the role of President. Pascal Cagni brings to Maison Lelièvre extensive international and investment experience. He was hired by Steve Jobs to lead Apple's EMEIA region as Vice President and General Manager between 2000 and 2012. Since 2017, he has been actively working as French Ambassador for International Investments and President of Business France, which unites the Team France Export and promotes France as a prime investment destination. He illustrates this commitment with the entrepreneurial platform C4, and the investment in Maison Lelièvre marks C4 Industries' first portfolio company in the French "art de vivre" (art of living) sector.

Maison Lelièvre's management team will be strengthened with the appointment of two Deputy General Managers: Frédéric Capelli, who has over fifteen years of experience within the Maison, and Laura Thivolet, who has been Principal at C4 Industries for over six years. C4 Industries will support Maison Lelièvre in the development of its three brands: Lelièvre Paris (1914), Quenin (1865), and Tassinari & Chatel (1680), and in the conquest of new export markets, where the Maison currently generates 60% of its revenue.

Particular focus will be placed on the manufacture located an hour away from Lyon in Panissières, in the Loire department, where the company produces most of its fabrics and all of its silks, always prioritizing "made in France" quality. The hand-weaving workshop, located in the Croix Rousse district, is being transferred to Panissières, highlighting a strong commitment to perpetuate this ancestral know-how.

Emmanuel Lelièvre, General Manager of Maison Lelièvre, said: 'With C4 Industries as our anchor investor, we will not only secure our activities but also accelerate them, while maintaining our family DNA. Our goal with C4 and Pascal Cagni is to preserve our ancestral industrial know-how, relying on our manufacture in France to reproduce historical fabrics for the Château de Versailles, as well as undertake complex projects for major architects and decorators.'

Pascal Cagni, President of Maison Lelièvre, said: 'It is with great joy and humility that we announce today the first investment of C4 Industries in the French 'art de vivre' (art of living). Words of our commitment to promote France and its industry are put into action by becoming the anchor investor of Maison Lelièvre, a symbol of French excellence for over 300 years, thanks to its legendary patrimonial heritage and unique ability to combine tradition and modernity.'

About Maison Lelièvre
Maison Lelièvre became the 95th French luxury Maison of the Comité Colbert on July 1, 2024, and was one of the first companies to be awarded the label *Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant* (EPV - Living Heritage Company) in 2006. Maison Lelièvre embodies French style, and its collections of fabrics, wall coverings, and bespoke rugs are an intrinsic part of the world of luxury décor. Since 1914, four generations of the Lelièvre family have passed on their passion for precious fabrics. Having incorporated other houses tracing back to the 17th century, such as Tassinari & Chatel, founded in 1680, and Quenin, founded in 1865, Maison Lelièvre today possesses unique know-how, inherited from Camille Pernon and the brothers Grand. Its products adorn France and Europe's greatest castles and exceptional venues. Its archives are carefully preserved and have notably enabled the success of the "Imperial Silks for Versailles" exhibition hosted at the Grand Trianon, which attracted a record number of visitors between March and June 2024.
