Haier Europe has announced the appointment of Christophe Salmon as the new General Manager for France, effective September 30. In his role, Salmon will oversee the company's teams and brands, including Haier, Candy, Rosières, and Hoover.

Salmon brings a wealth of academic and professional experience to the position. He holds a DEA in Chemical Kinetics from the University of Paris VI and a Master's in Supply Chain from ESSEC.
With strategic and operational expertise in supply chain management, category management, marketing, and sales, he has held various leadership roles across Europe. Notably, Salmon spent six years at Unilever and 19 years at Mattel, where he served as General Manager for subsidiaries in France, Italy, and the Iberian Peninsula, successfully expanding market share.
His appointment aligns with Haier's existing strategy to become the leader in large home appliances in France by 2028 and the preferred choice for connected home solutions.
