Attempted murder at Swedish shopping centre

The Kungsmässan shopping centre in Kungsbacka, Sweden will reopen today following a shooting incident on Sunday afternoon that left a store employee injured. The police are treating the case as an attempted murder and a serious weapons offence.

After the shooting, the mall temporarily closed, but according to local reports, authorities have deemed it safe to resume operations. In preparation for reopening, a crisis management team, along with the police, will be on-site to meet with tenants, offering support and answering any concerns. To ensure public safety and gather further information, there will also be an increased police presence in the mall.
