At Hábitat Valencia

Spanish brand Ondarreta presented metal chairs installation reminiscent of a lattice

The Spanish brand Ondarreta invited people to explore a new space where furniture objects and their materiality challenged established conventions for the Hábitat Valencia fair. The installation dynamically interacted with imposing metal structures that embraced a repetition of chair shells from the new 'Supra Raw collection' (Note Design Studio), made of translucent polypropylene, as the central element.

These impressive structures modulated circulation, creating varied spaces and textures reminiscent of a lattice. They were not presented as static, isolated objects, but as dynamic elements interacting with the monochromatic environment around them, generating open spaces and constantly transforming shapes. It celebrated the "non" scene, where the multifunctionality of Ondarreta's collections—GUMI, MIBU, GINGER, and SUPRA—manifested throughout the journey.

Visitors were immersed in a fluid and changing environment, with the translucencies and shifts in light provided by the unique polypropylene inviting them to engage actively with the space and discover the other pieces in the collection. Light became a living, ever-changing phenomenon, influenced by each individual's perception and position within the space. As a result, the installation and the space fed off one another, enhancing the aesthetic and emotional impact on visitors.

This space, designed by Pensando en Blanco, revealed its intention to challenge traditional conventions of furniture and explore new dimensions in their craft.
