The judges praised its financial performance, revised export strategy, and the retelling of the Harrison Spinks story and brand ethos. Its commitment to sustainability, highlighted by its focused environmental achievements, also contributed to earning a third King's Award for Enterprise.
Nick Booth, Managing Director at Harrison Spinks, states, 'We're delighted to win this highly respected award once again, which couldn't be done without a fantastic team effort and everything that goes on behind the scenes at Harrison Spinks.'
'It's incredible to receive this recognition for our hard work. Winning this award is a testament to the craftsmanship that goes into each bed we produce, from the expert hand-stitching of our mattresses to our unwavering commitment to product innovation and sustainable manufacturing. This is why we believe we are cut from a different cloth.'
'Achieving this win for Bed Manufacturer of the Year acknowledges our standing in the luxury sustainable sleep market while maintaining our ethos of using responsibly sourced natural materials, allowing products to be recycled at the end of their life and ensuring exceptional quality for our customers.'
At the awards, the brand showcased 15 new handcrafted Harrison Spinks models, including a Limited Edition Pearl mattress to celebrate 30 years of its iconic Bed Tailor collection. All featured its homegrown hemp and 100% recyclable Cortecâ„¢ spring systems. The brand also displayed three new luxury Somnus mattresses and a brand-new collaboration of headboard styles in exclusive 100% hemp fabrics designed by Patrick Grant, judge of BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee.
Recently, Harrison Spinks was awarded a King's Award for Sustainable Development, adding to our existing King's Awards for Innovation and International Trade. This brings its total awards achieved to eight, including previous Queen's Awards.
