CIFF Shanghai, the International Furniture Fair in China held annually at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Shanghai Hongqiao, has just concluded its 54th edition, which was themed 'Design Empowerment - Dual Internal-External Drive'.
Bringing the entire furniture supply chain together under one roof, the fair was divided into a variety of themed areas—including Design Eden – Contemporary Design Trade Fair; Sofa Pavillon; Smart Sleep Pavillon; and Living & Dining Rooms Funiture Pavillon—hosting five distinct fairs: CIFF WMF, CIFF Upholstery Tech, CIFF Offices & Public Spaces Exhibition, CIFF Urban Outdoor Furniture Exhibition, and CIFF Home Textiles & Accessories Lifestyle Exhibition.
The event brought together over 1,300 brands in an exhibition area of 300,000 square metres. Of the total 89,433 trade visitors, 10,486 came from all over the world, marking an increase of 18.31% in international attendance and demonstrating Chinese companies' successful transition away from product export and towards brand export.
The balance of this edition was an obvious strong point, not only in terms of the number of attendees and the scale achieved but, above all, regarding original product design, the quality of the stands, and the proven ability of the participating companies to offer innovative solutions for enhancing life at home, in the office, in public spaces, and outdoors.
The brands that made this latest edition special include:
