A recent project by Ulisse Narcisi, R1 promises to redefine domestic conviviality with a cutting-edge design that integrates intelligent and ergonomic solutions. The kitchen's environmental impact and energy costs are reduced thanks to the use of advanced technologies and eco-friendly materials, making it a responsible choice that enhances the sharing experience at home.
Rastelli inaugurates a year of EuroCucina novelties with the ambitious challenge of surpassing the traditional concept of a convivial space, transforming the kitchen into a multifunctional environment.
With an extensive catalogue offering a wide range of materials, finishes, and configurations, R1's innovative approach is reflected in its ability to meet the ever-growing demand for customisation. It enables unique compositions to furnish the heart of the home: the kitchen.
One of its timeless and functional features is the central island, which captures attention with its essential lines and structured volumes. It embodies a contemporary aesthetic while radiating intimate warmth.
As the centre of daily activities and relationships, the new R1 island is a joyful hub in your home. Not only does it boast an avant-garde design, but it also facilitates a shared experience that extends into the living area.
R1 excels in transforming the kitchen into a space of inspiration and creativity. Around this island, unforgettable memories are made, emotional bonds are strengthened, and a vision for a better world can be envisioned.
In the composition showcased at Salone del Mobile.Milano, the island's matt white lacquered base doors and Grès Pietra Piasentina worktop (12 mm thick) pair beautifully with eucalyptus wood and Ingo black Fenix columns.
But R1 continues to innovate, especially with its storage solutions. The columns are positioned along the wall, accompanied by a full-height open unit in eucalyptus, equipped with trays, cup holders, and bottle holders—perfect for keeping essentials within reach. Nearby, there are also two ovens and a fridge.
R1's most operational area features a single-block stainless steel sink (150 cm) with channels for accessories, creating a true workstation. Perpendicular to it is a container with drawers and an open eucalyptus unit, accented by a worktop and sides cut at a 45° angle. Behind the island, the domestic space is elevated by the Watch-It bookcase in black aluminium, with foil shelves in the same finish.
